We had to pay for the pool that we never used, for a movie we never watched, for higher speed Internet that we never accessed. Despite the hotel's amenities guide, which boasts everything from a fully stocked mini bar (which was not present) to free wireless internet (which is only available at low speeds), the hotel still charged us (and others) to use those services. Unfortunately, it's very obvious that its owners ran out of money and are desperate to recover costs by charging guests for EVERYTHING-even if they never agreed to pay for them. Admittedly its upscale decor gives it tremendous potential to be a lively oasis of fun in the desert surrounding Las Vegas.
